His willingness to jump in and do things himself that he saw needed to be done. He saw things that needed doing and just did it, including washing windows.

WERE THERE ANY SPECIFIC CHALLENGES?

One challenge was I wanted more than I was going to get for the house. He convinced me that if I had done certain things, it might have been worth more, but they were things I didn't have the money or desire to do. He didn't push me to do them, but he informed me of how they would have made a difference if I had done them.

Very definitely. Yes. We talked a lot and he was very informative about how and why he was doing things. Sometimes I would balk at what he would suggest and then we'd talk about it and he would explain why it was necessary. He never pressured me. He just gave me the straight scoop and I felt like I should pay attention.

Communication was excellent. I talked to him every day. Sometimes many times a day. He kept me well informed about everything that was going on and answered all my questions. If I needed something, he was right there. He'd come over to the house to work with me on something. I was surprised with how open and available he was. He wasn't stuffy. This whole thing was his job, and every part of it he was responding to.

I very much enjoyed working with Scott and would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or acquaintances. In fact, I already have.

What we were looking for was not available on the market at the time, and Scott helped us to find a home through his informal network, locating a house that was not yet on the market.

I would tell them most definitely do it. He's very, very honest. He's not going to steer you in the wrong direction. He'll tell you things you need to do and tell you what works and what doesn't work. He was overall a great individual.

I would say his willingness to help. To not only tell you what would help, but actually do it himself. He sold my property, but Scott would also go hands on and was actually helping do things in the house. There was one time where we wanted to put a light fixture in above the shower and Scott went into the attic and expertly drilled down through the ceiling. He didn't even hesitate.

There was a lady that wasn't a realtor but was helping with the mortgage. She was living in Oregon, and she had a person who was very interested in the house. So, she put a deal together. In talking with Scott, we learned it was wrong of her to do that. It wasn’t in her realm of expertise. Scott helped us get out of that and helped inform us through the process to avoid making that mistake.

He was a lot of help. For me, it was the first house that I'd ever sold. He was immensely helpful. The communication was great. If I ever needed anything, he said just call him. And He always, always got back to me whether I was calling for information or help; anything. If anyone I knew was looking to buy a house, I would highly recommend Scott.

I greatly respect Scott. He's very straight forward. He's not going to steer you in the wrong direction. He's not going to beat around the bush just to help himself.
